MicroPowers Ltd. Once Again Cooperates with Shanghai Tower Construction & Development Co., Ltd. to Jointly Create a New Mode of Cooperation

On September 21, the "Signing Ceremony of the Special Agency Service for Subsidy Application and Work Launching Conference" of Shanghai Tower Construction & Development Co., Ltd. and Shanghai MicroPowers Ltd. were held in the conference room at the 10th floor of Shanghai Tower.The attendees to the Conference included Gu Jianping, Director and General Manager of Shanghai Tower, Gao Chao, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Tower, He Zhijian, Vice Director of SMDERI, Wu Xiaoyun, General Manager of MicroPowers Ltd., as well as the leaders and staff of the relevant departments of both companies.
Currently, Shanghai Tower is the tallest building in China and the second tallest building in the world. It is a "name card" of Shanghai. What especially rare is, it solved many unprecedented high-rise building problems at domestic and even international levels, used 99 innovative technologies, and created 17 world records.
The distributed energy supply system, part of the Energy Center of Shanghai Tower, is engineered, procured and constructed (EPC) by MicroPowers Ltd. Currently, the system commissioning has been completed. Every year, the distributed energy supply system can provide Shanghai Tower with 12.5 million kWh electric energy, 4.8 million kWh thermal load in winter, 7 million kWh cooling load in summer. The total economic benefits of cooling load, thermal load and electric energy in a year are nearly RMB 5 million. Every year, the distributed energy supply system can save 700 tons of standard coal and reduce emission of 3300 tons of carbon dioxide, which provides a strong support for Shanghai Tower to become the world's tallest green building.
This contract signing is another cooperation between MicroPowers Ltd. and Shanghai Tower MicroPowers Ltd. Once Again Cooperates with Shanghai Tower Construction & Development Co., Ltd. through this new cooperation mode, the win-win results will be achieved. MicroPowers Ltd. will plan from many different aspects and perspectives so that the innovative technology used in this green and intelligent building can bring more benefits and honors for Shanghai Tower as well as create greater economic value and social value.
