Landfill gas power generation project in Yinzhou, Ningbo

Project overview:
Ningbo Yinzhou landfill gas power generation project was a renewable energy project which used the landfill gas generated by waste to generate power through gas internal combustion generator unit. The project was constructed in the domestic waste landfill site in Yinzhou District, Ningbo. The landfill site covered an area of 560 mu. It was designed to process 800 tons of domestic waste per day, belonging to one of the domestic waste landfill sites which have the highest technical content and construction grade in the same landfill sites in China. The power generation project covered an area of 1,350 square meters, with an installed capacity of 2.126MW and a total investment of about RMB 31 million. This project was approved in 2012 by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China as the CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) project.

Process routes:
The construction of the project mainly included the landfill gas collection system, landfill gas pretreatment system, two gas generators, one set of 600Nm³/h enclosed torch burning device, power system, CDM measuring system, one power plant, as well as roads, greening, fire control, safety monitoring and other integrated supporting facilities.
